some music recommendations i got
so i've had some people send me album recommendations. i was going to write a detailed review for each album but this post idea ended up rotting in my drafts. now i decided to post my thoughts about them unpolished without worrying too much about it.
m b v by my bloody valentine
much more dreamy sounding than I expected was probably confusing the band with bullet for my valentine.
a whole experience like most shoegaze records, can not comment on individual songs but the album was good.
dead vibrations by dead vibrations
drums are great and energetic, bass is chonky and cuts through especially in "in habits".
great album, short and sweet. it didn't overstay it's welcome might be my favourite one yet.
art angels by grimes
a lot more polished than visions. brighter too. a lot more danceable and hummable. i like it.
blues for allah by grateful dead
outside my comfort zone, sort of whimsical? I enjoyed it.
